Program Structure
Amount of PRS experience in first three years. PGY4-6 consist of entirely PRS rotations.
  1. 3-4 months of PRS in PGY1
  2. 6 months of PRS in PGY2
  3. 3 months of PRS in PGY3
Electives
Elective opportunities to explore PRS sub-specialties and professional interests.
1.5 months each in PGY5 and PGY6
Cosmetic
Cosmetic/aesthetic experience.
Minimum 1 month / year at Emory Aesthetic Center starting PGY2, cosmetic cases at Grady throughout training
Global Surgery
Opportunities to participate in international electives, mission trips, or research.
Annual cleft trip to Haiti, and additional experiences can be arranged; Global health certificate available (yearlong program that culminates in 1-month rotation in Ethiopia
