Program Structure
Amount of PRS experience in first three years. PGY4-6 consist of entirely PRS rotations.
  1. 3 months of PRS in PGY1
  2. 4 months of PRS in PGY2
  3. 7 months of PRS in PGY3
Electives
Elective opportunities to explore PRS sub-specialties and professional interests.
Flexibility on certain rotations to briefly visit other sites, but no dedicated elective months
Cosmetic
Cosmetic/aesthetic experience.
No specific cosmetic rotations; residents get cosmetic experience at Dr. Cimino's (former chief) surgery center, also have resident clinic in PGY4-6
Global Surgery
Opportunities to participate in international electives, mission trips, or research.
Annual 1-week trip to Peru, also opportunities with burn attendings, usually during PGY4 or PGY6
