Program Structure
Amount of PRS experience in first three years. PGY4-6 consist of entirely PRS rotations.
  1. 7 months of PRS in PGY1
  2. 7 months of PRS in PGY2
  3. 9 months of PRS in PGY3
Electives
Elective opportunities to explore PRS sub-specialties and professional interests.
No formal elective time, but can be arranged
Cosmetic
Cosmetic/aesthetic experience.
Cosmetic rotations with private practice surgeons in PGY3 (2 months), PGY4 (3 months), PGY5 (2 months), PGY6 (4 months); had resident clinic before COVID (which may be restarted), senior residents can also book their own cases
Global Surgery
Opportunities to participate in international electives, mission trips, or research.
One attending involved with Helping Hands wants to start yearly trip that senior resident could attend, residents can also arrange their own experiences with vacation time
